Our class will seek an explanation for the specific nature of
Britain’s view of the European Community as well as the reactions
to it from across the English Channel. The emotions and beliefs
behind Charles de Gaulle’s two vetoes of Britain’s joining the
Community will also be examined. There will be a discussion on
Britain's 2016 Referendum regarding the European Union.
